City Wide of Portland is a family owned company that provides managed building services to commercial properties across Portland.  We currently manage Class A office buildings, private schools, medical clinics, production and manufacturing facilities.  We have experienced significant growth every year since our inception in 2014. We are seeking an "A Player" interested in developing a B2B sales career who embraces accountability and the challenge of managing a territory and setting appointments.  Our Business Development position allows the freedom of navigating in the field and on the phone.  You will be the prospector, making connections and building relationships with clients to fill the sales pipeline. You will bring a deep understanding of our business to each contact, identifying opportunities for a broad range of services. You will have the ability to work independently while collaborating with Sales Executive and Account Managers to drive sales strategies.

Main Duties:

  • Set appointments with local businesses for Sales Executive
  • Account prospecting of commercial properties in a defined territory
  • Develop relationships through high volume phone and face-to-face conversations
  • Manage and update a Customer Relationship Management (Microsoft CRM) database
  • Prepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as defined by management


  • Minimum 30 hours per week and up to 40 hours
  • Experience prospecting by phone and in the field
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding metrics
  • Strong history of leadership and academic achievement
  • Familiarity with CRM or comparable Salesforce
  • Consistent work ethic and stellar attendance
  • Ability to engage prospects in person or via phone in a high volume atmosphere
  • Valid driver's license required and access to a vehicle (car allowance provided)

Our compensation package includes base salary and monthly commissions.  Expected earnings $45K - $50K.  Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, 1 week paid time off (in addition to 6 Paid holidays), vehicle reimbursement, company issued laptop and iPhone.  This position follows a defined sales career path within our company.
